Event #3: Inside Design × Futurice

The third Inside Design workshop took place with Futurice and featured sessions led by Tuomas Härkönen and Anna Kholina. The discussion focused on the realities of working as a designer in a consulting environment, including how projects unfold, how time is structured during a typical week, and how designers navigate complex client situations.

A central theme was the role of workshops and collaborative processes in solving organizational challenges. Participants learned how facilitation helps align stakeholders, surface hidden assumptions, and generate solutions that consider multiple perspectives.

The session also explored the nature of uncertainty in design work. Rather than being a limitation, uncertainty was framed as a space for exploration and creative problem solving. Designers increasingly operate across multiple domains, blending communication, strategy, and solution development to guide teams toward meaningful outcomes.
