Event #2: Inside Design × Reaktor

The second Inside Design event was organized in collaboration with Reaktor and centered on hands-on exploration of real business challenges. The format was dialogue-driven, bringing students and industry professionals together to exchange perspectives and approaches to problem solving.

Participants worked through UX challenges using structured methods that emphasized user research, identifying root causes, and building solutions that address the underlying problem rather than surface symptoms. The workshop highlighted the role designers play in connecting different stakeholders and aligning perspectives across teams.

The evening was led by Karri-Pekka Laakso, Kari Riihelä, and Tiina Härkönen, who guided small groups of 5–8 students through Reaktor's design process and shared their ways of thinking.

The session reinforced the importance of collaborative environments where students and practitioners can learn from each other while developing practical approaches to complex design problems.
